CardMEDIA comes as two different suites designed to best suit a specific need.
CardMEDIA Reference Suite
The CardMEDIA Reference Suite is useful for maintaining book or journal article references and generating bibliographic entries for inclusion in a report. It is useful to the school librarian, educator, or student seeking to keep track of books or collected references.
This suite includes the following cards:
Article Card
Allows you to store collected references such as articles from professional
journals
Book Card
Permits you to store information about books in your collection
CardCite Package
The CardCite package generates bibliographic entries for a report from
selected books and/or articles. Single or mutliple entries can be
generated. You can even export to Newton Works or Notes!
CardTotals Package
Provides you with a rapid report on the number and value of items selected.
CardMEDIA Home Suite
In addition to using CardMEDIA for professional purposes, you can use
CardMEDIA to track CD collections, Videos, and home inventory items such
as appliances and electronics. 
Also included as part of the Home Suite is the CardTotals package which let's you quickly and easily determine the number of items, and value of your collection.
This suite includes the following packages:
CD Card
Allows you to store information on Compact Discs
Video Card
Allows you to store information about movies
Ivy Card
Allows you to store information about general items (such as your home
electronics or appliances)
